My Story

My House Story began in the most natural way possible — with my own home.

After researching the history of my house, friends and family asked if I could uncover the stories behind theirs as well. Before long, they began recommending me to others, and what started as a personal passion quickly grew into something more. Today, I’m delighted to offer the same service to you.

I have spent more than 20 years working in historic research, tracing stories through archives, old maps, newspapers, census and electoral records. Alongside this, I have worked across the UK heritage sector, helping to bring history to life for visitors, families, and communities.

Through My House Story, I combine that experience with a genuine love of storytelling. Every home — from Victorian terraces to rural cottages and grand villas — holds layers of human history waiting to be rediscovered.
